One mailbox, one address · Berth 23-5

There is no contact form on this site, and there is not going to be. A form means a script, a submission and somewhere to keep it; a mailbox means none of those things. Write to the address below from whatever email you prefer.

What we can help with

• Corrections. If a step states something that is wrong, out of date or unclear, tell us which step and which sentence. This is the most useful email we receive.
• Broken or misdirected links. Regulators reorganise their sites and vendors move pages; we would rather hear about it than wait for the next review.
• Privacy requests. Access to or correction of anything we hold about you. Put Privacy request in the subject line and we will reply within 30 days. The Privacy Policy explains what exists to be accessed, which is very little.
• Questions about our funding. If anything on the Affiliate Disclosure page is unclear, ask.
• Accessibility problems. If a page does not work with a screen reader, at a particular text size or without a mouse, tell us what the page did and what you were using.

What we cannot help with

We are not the vendor of any game and we have no access to anybody's game account. We cannot reset a password, restore a purchase, lift a suspension, issue a refund or look anything up on your behalf. Those requests have to go to the vendor's own support channel, and we have no standing to pass them on.

We also cannot give technical support for your computer. We cannot see your machine, we never ask about it, and nothing on this site inspects it. If a game will not start, the vendor's support pages are the place to begin.

And we do not give legal, financial or professional advice. The course links to Australian regulators because they publish authoritative material; we are not a substitute for them, and we cannot advise you on your own situation.

How long a reply takes

We read the mailbox on weekdays and most replies go out within a few business days. Privacy requests are answered within 30 days, which is the commitment in the Privacy Policy. Complaints are answered within 30 days as well; if you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy complaint, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner accepts complaints about privacy matters.

Emails to this mailbox are kept for 24 months after the last message in the conversation, unless we need to keep something longer for a legal claim. Anything you send that we do not need in order to reply is deleted when it is lawful and reasonable to do so. Nothing you send is used for marketing; there is no mailing list to join and we do not send course reminders.

A note on unexpected messages

We will never email you asking for a password, a payment or an account detail, because we have no accounts and no payments. If a message claiming to be from this site asks for any of those, it is not from us, and Scamwatch is the place to report it.
